Offering a Mass, therefore, means becoming part of this bond that transcends time and space\u2014a bond that is particularly precious to Christian communities in the East, which are often isolated or vulnerable.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#d7ba61\"><strong>A gesture of love that doesn&#x27;t end with death<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For someone who has passed away, this act takes on a very special meaning. To continue praying for those who have left us is to refuse to let death have the final say over our love for them. It is to entrust their souls to God\u2019s mercy, while strengthening our own hope in eternal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Mass offered in this way is celebrated by an Eastern priest who, despite sometimes very difficult circumstances, continues to include in his daily prayers the intentions entrusted to him by donors like you.
