L’Œuvre d’Orient supported this school, which needed renovations to provide its 150 students with access to clean restrooms separated by gender. Work was also carried out to improve working conditions for teachers and students. Here is their account:

A TEACHER’S TESTIMONY: “Before the renovations, we faced many challenges, especially during the rainy season, because leaks in the ceiling made it difficult to keep the classrooms and equipment dry. The repairs have completely transformed our daily environment. Thanks to a secure fence and modernized facilities, I feel much more at ease and can focus fully on the children’s development. It’s a joy to teach in a space that now reflects the care and quality we strive to provide in our teaching.”
TESTIMONY from a parent: “My child used to worry about the old restrooms and the dilapidated parts of the school. Now, he comes home talking about how clean the school is. As a parent, seeing the new security fence gives me great peace of mind. He can’t wait to go to school every morning because the classrooms are bright and brand-new. This project didn’t just renovate the buildings; it has instilled a new sense of pride in our young students.”
