L’Œuvre d’Orient carries out its mission with the support of dedicated partners in France, the Middle East, and the countries where it operates.

These collaborations are essential to the quality and scope of our work. They enable us to support our local partners in the areas of education, health, social assistance, training, and heritage preservation, while remaining closely attuned to the realities on the ground.

In 2021, L’Œuvre d’Orient was awarded the European Union Humanitarian Partnership Certificate for the period 2021–2027. It is therefore a partner of DG ECHO in delivering humanitarian aid, in collaboration with its local partners, directly to vulnerable populations.
In June 2022, L’Œuvre d’Orient received the “CHS Self-Assessment” certification from the CHS (Core Humanitarian Standards) Alliance for its compliance with the “Core Humanitarian Standards for Quality and Accountability.”
In July 2023, the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) approved the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations to grant special consultative status to L’Oeuvre d’Orient.
