Oversight and Transparency

The L’Œuvre d’Orient Association has been awarded the “Don en Confiance” certification, which stands for: transparency, respect for donors, a commitment to effectiveness, integrity, and selflessness.

It has also undertaken an evaluation process of its initiatives in the areas of education, health, and assistance to vulnerable populations. Certain flagship projects undergo an in-depth internal or external evaluation based on OECD criteria (relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability). The intended long-term impact of projects on beneficiaries is analyzed with all stakeholders using a methodology known as the “Theory of Change.”
