Most Holy Mother of God, we call upon you as Mother of the Church,
Mother of all suffering Christians.
We implore you, through your fervent intercession, to tear down this wall—the walls of our hearts—and all the walls that breed hatred, violence, fear, and indifference among people and among nations.
You who, through your Son, crushed the ancient serpent, gather us together and unite us under your virginal mantle, protect us from all evil, and open the door of Hope in our lives forever.
Bring forth within us and in this world the civilization of Love that springs from the Cross and the Resurrection of Your Divine Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior, who lives and reigns forever and ever.
